Kirk Moorhead was born in Anderson, South Carolina in 1966. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and acquired his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mr. Moorhead was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1994. He is also admitted in the United States District Court, District of South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Moorhead is a member of the Anderson County and American Bar Associations, the South Carolina Bar, the American Association for Justice, South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He previously served on the Board of Governors for the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association from 2000-2006. Other memberships include the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Mr. Moorhead's areas of practice include social security disability, criminal defense, civil litigation, workers' compensation, contract disputes, medical negligence and personal injury.
